| 【英文補習, 補習英文, english tutor, 英文課程, 中學補習, 補習社】 “萬元戶”、“大款”等都是我們在不同時期對有錢人的不同叫法。隨著財富的不斷增加，“萬元”早已不再是有錢的標準，“百萬”、“億萬”富翁也不少見。由此，有錢人的新說法自然也就更新換代瞭。 “Two commas” is the latest American shorthand for millionaire status. In English, we use a comma to separate thousands in numbers. If there are two commas in a number, it must be in million. Thus comes this shorthand. If we say someone has two commas, that means he is a millionaire. In case of a billionaire, we can use three commas. Two commas（字面意思為“兩個逗號”）是百萬富翁的一個新說法。在英語中，我們用逗號做數字中的千位符。如果一串數字中出現瞭兩個逗號，那麼這個數字一定超過瞭百萬。由此才有瞭這個說法。如果我們說“某人有兩個逗號”，那意思就是說“他是個百萬富翁”。如果對方是個十億富豪，我們就可以說“他有三個逗號”。 For example: They both have their “two commas” after floating their infant Internet businesses on Wall Street. 將初具規模的互聯網公司拿到華爾街上市以後，他們倆都成瞭百萬富翁。 |
